PRODUCT INFORMATION
AlphaTec® TRAINER TYPE CV/VP1/T
Design • Encapsulating design type CV (with visor and hump, BA worn inside the suit)• Encapsulating design type VP1 (larger visor, with hump, BA worn inside the suit)• Non-encapsulating type T (with face seal and without hump, BA worn outside the suit)
Garment material Strong and flexible polyester fabric, coated with PVC on both sides.
Seams Welded
Visor • Rigid 2 mm impact resistant PVC• Optionally 1 mm soft PVC• Comes in two optional sizes; CV or the larger VP1
Face seal Non-encapsulating suits are fitted with an anatomically designed face seal.
Gloves & Attachments Scorpio #08-354 neoprene rubber gloves in combination with rubber cuffs. Other glove options are available. The gloves are attached with a Bayonet glove ring system, which offers quick and simple glove exchange.
Footwear & Attachments Sewn-in sock/booties made of the suit material. Alternatively PVC safety boots. The boots are fixed with an ergo nomically designed ring attachment, for simplified boot exchange.
Zipper Strong and durable watertight PVC coated zipper. The zipper is closing downwards, and is protected by a flap/splash guard.
Ventilation A ventilation system is included as standard. For the safety of the wearer, it provides a constant level of overpressure inside the suit. The Regulating valve has 3 ventilation rates (2, 30 and 100 l/min) plus zero/off position and is also available in a passthrough version for use with external air supply. Two overpressure valves in the back of the hood.
