India Against Corruption

Friends,

This topic reminds us of the famous N.G.O India against

corruption led by the popular R.T.I activist Arvind kejriwal. In this

very article, well discuss the latest agitations of the masses

against corruption in our country.

The politics of India is covered from the mud

of corruption. You might have heard about the several scams, 2G

scam, CWG scam, S.Band spectrum scam, Adarsh society scam,

Tetra truck scam, Coal spectrum scam...the list is very long as in

Well have to clean the whole system if we want to get rid of

eradicate corruption from our country, well have to eradicate it

from our mind.

The youth can do a lot in this regard with their

Abhijit and Aliens

One day Abhijit was alone at his house. It was a day of winter season.

The members of his family had gone out of the city to his relatives. He

was getting bored as he could not go there because it was very far from

his house.

So, he decided to walk. He went to garden and started walk.

Suddenly, he saw a spacecraft which

ultimately landed in the garden. An alien came out from the spacecraft.

People in the garden were frightened at the sight. Some of them started

moving here and there, some of them were frozen at their place.

Someone called the police. The modern police force came with modern

weapons. The police force started firing on the alien, Abhijit requested

Mr. Anil, the commander of the police force not to fire on the alien, as he

could be more scientifically developed and could fire also. The force

stopped firing. The alien then went to his spacecraft to bring a machine

through which he could talk with the people. He told the force that he had

come here to research on pollution; He gifted saplings of plants grown on

his planted to Abhijit and the police force. He also told the force that if

they didnt stop firing, he had to fire by his weapon which could blast the

whole city. After taking some samples of soil, water, air etc, the alien

returned. Mr. Anil thanked Abhijit for his wise idea. The press reporters

took his photos and he was treated as a real hero.

SOME TIPS FOR FASTER CALCULATION

Whenever we are solving a question, major time is spent on calculations.

To save time and to make our calculations faster, we should know some

tricks.

Starve the problems, feed the opportunities.

Here, a trick is given for multiplication of a two digit number by a two

digit number.

Every two digit no. Has a unifying place digit and a tens place digit. Now

the rule is as given below:-

1)Multiply the unit place digit and write the unit place digit of the result

and carry the tens place digit.

2)Do the cross multiplication and add them and then add the carried

number and now write the unit place digit of the result and carry the

other place digit.

3)Multiply the tens place digit and add to the carried number and write it.

Example:- 58X76 =58

X 76

a)The product of 8 and 6 is 48. We write 8 carrying 4

b)In this step 5 is multiplied with 6 (result 30) and 8 is multiplied with

7(result 56) and the sum of their products is 30+56=86 and when it is

added with the carried number of 1st atep it gives 90(86+4=90)and so 0

is written carrying 9.

c)Product of 5 and 7 is 35 and its sum with thenumber carriedin 2nd step

is 35+9=44.

So the answer is 4408

Created an effective tool for the treatment of stroke

Employees of hospitals in the West Toronto (Toronto Western Hospital)

in Ontario reported the successful testing of new drugs for the treatment

of stroke.

If the vehicle taken within three hours after stroke onset, the brain

damage can be minimized, says New Scientist.

Stroke - a strong violation of blood circulation in the brain. If the patient

does not help within 24 hours, then all can be fatal. With a lack of

oxygen and nutrients to the brain tissue dies. Currently there is only one

approved means of treatment - tissue plasminogen activator (present in

the body protein capable of forming blood clots break). It is most

effective if applied within a half hours after stroke onset, but,

unfortunately, not always available. Therefore, experts, for a long time

have been developing drugs that will work after 2 or more hours after its

occurrence.

During the experiments, Michael Timianski and colleagues simulated the

consequences of stroke in monkeys receiving up to PSD-95 inhibitor or

placebo. According to experts, PSD-95 inhibitors interfere with the

process that causes cell death when the brain is deprived of oxygen. To

test their effectiveness, they used MRI to calculate the volume of brain

damage within 30 days after treatment. In addition, experts also

conducted behavioral tests at specific intervals during the same period.
