Sub:-Organization of 9th Delhi State Para Athletics & Powerlifting championship from 6th to8ili Feb., 2017 by Paralympic Committee of Delhi .

Sir / Madam,

Paralympic Committee of Delhi is going to organize 9th Delhi State Para Athletics &

Powerlifting championship for Physically Challenged I Visually Impaired sportspersons from

6th to 81h Feb., 2017 at Thyagraj Sports Complex, INA, New Delhi.

All HaS are requested to bring this information into the knowledge of all the

physically disabled students of their school and encourage them to participate in the

tournament. EntTYform will be accepted on 29th Jan., 2017 at Thyagraj Sports Complex, INA,

New Delhi.

The entry form and schedule of the tournament is enclosed herewith and can also be

downloaded from the official website of Paralympic Committee of Delhi

Respected Madam,The Paralympic Committee of Delhi (PCD) is the Principal Organization in Delhi looking

after the sports of Physically Challenged I Visually Impaired Sportsperson. It is affiliated to theParalympic Committee of India (PCI) (Recognized by Government of India) which is at par withIndian Olympic Association. The Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) in turn is affiliated toInternational Paralympic Committee (IPC)

The Paralympic Committee of Delhi (PCD) is going to organize 9th Delhi State Championship inAthletics & Power Lifting for PhysicallyNisually Challenged sportspersons from 6th Feb. 2017 to8th Feb. 2017 at Thyagraj Sport Complex, New Delhi.

The purpose of the meet is to encourage participation of Physically challenged persons invarious sports so that they can lift their self-esteem in the society. Also this would help us to findnew talent for competitions at national and international level.

Hence, it is requested to your goodself to make arrangement to send children(students) withdisabilities (Para players) duly escorted by the teachers from all districts on 6th to 8th February2017 at Thyagraj Sport Complex, New Delhi to contribute in the nobel cause &for the success ofthese sports. Such para players can be picked up from both Oovt. & private/aided school. This'llbe great help to give opportunities to children with special needs in future games.
