BIOGRAPHY Ken Mauron is a Swiss composer whose work encompasses piano, film scoring, electronic music and musicotherapy. He began playing classical piano at a very young age and has demonstrated ease at interpretating several masterpieces from well-known composers such as Frédéric Chopin, Ludwig Van Beethoven and Jean-Sebastian Bach. Over the years, he extended his sphere of expertise in various musical styles and pushed the boundaries of classical music by creating his own compositions with various musical genres. He has produced numerous soundtracks and records known for delivering a unique listening experience that levels the field between composer and audience. His main artistical direction can be summarized in one word : emotional tension. Ken Mauron focuses now on building partnerships to further develop his label SENSUM and continues to offer his services as music creator, pianist, film scorer and music therapist. For 2020, the subscription for two international competitions which will take place respectively in Vienna and Spain alongside the promotion of the project : « The Valse » within an international framework will be the main goals for this year. However, the proactive research of collaboration in advertising and the composition of the music for the short-film « LUI » directed by Cédric Friedli & Yann Moeckli and subsidized by Framevox Sarl will also be the main purposes for 2020. PROJECT : « The Valse » The project « The Valse is born in 2018 during the composition of the second album : Evocation. This project will be released soon in the SENSUM label records officialized by the swiss musical plateforme : Imusician. The tight relationship with Ada Pisino, the Giant Studio (a danse studio from Neuchâtel) including two talented dansers (Mathieu Robert & Alix Jansens) and finally two promising swiss filmmakers which were able to create a high quality videoclip with perfect synchrony between danse, music and emotions. Indeed, Cedric Friedli & Yann Moeckli, two great film-makers that have gathered several international prices for multiple movie festivals, gave their unique artistical and visual touch to the piece. The composition of the project include the main and dominant instrument which is the piano surrounded by a complete orchestralisation. The mixing and mastering parts have been made by the sound engineer David Torr at the Reponse Studio (NE). The main goals for this particular project are the subscription for two international competitions of composition, the first one will take place in Vienna during March period and the second one, in Spain including the semi-finals and the finals. Indeed, the international scene is one of the main goal for this project. As a second purpose, the progressive organisation of regional and national events in collaboration with the Giant Studio will be put forward with all the ressources we have. For long-term goals, the local anchoring of the label, the promotion of many regional and national composers plus the organisation of local events will be part of the purposes. REGIONAL DYNAMIC During this first collaboration between the Giant Studio and the label SENSUM, some regional interesting interactions have been shaped between Ada Pisino and myself as well as the two dansers (Mathieu Robert & Alix Jansens) which are very well accustomed to the scene. Thus, above the rich dynamic instaured, we project ourselves in the futur and stare at some projects that will incorporate the dansing part and the musical part. Indeed, the organisation of an upcoming event may very well be the next step forward according to the current artistical direction.

MEDIA / RADIOS / TV In the musical environment, the label look actively for media supports, radio or television broadcasts. In effect, we will be glad for every propositions regarding the radiodiffusion, radioshow and TV broadcasting. The principal goal is to give some credit to the romantic-classic community and support the projects involved with the SENSUM label. Indeed, the promotion and the support to the swiss composers are the main concern for the label. The media coverage is one of the crucial step forward for every artistical project and we will be very pleased and thankful for any kind of support which can enhance the visibility of all regional and national composers which are involved in any projects directed by the label. Right now, the demand concerns the project : « The Valse ».
