Jim found his knack for being funny at an early age. He started becoming a comedian in elementary school.

At age 15 Carrey got a stand-up comic job at a Toronto Club, which was a tragic failure. After his stand-up job, financial problem came in. Carrey’s life changed. He and his family had to move out of the house.

Jim and his family got janitorial jobs at the Titan Wheels factory. They had to work eight-hour shifts. When his family got out of the factory, they had to live out of a camper van. Jim did not let the hard times kill his dream of becoming a comedian.

So at age 19, Jim moved to Hollywood to start his career.  Being a comedian is Carrey’s true talent. He makes people laugh till their gut hurts.
