Step 1:

Read article closely, while talking to the text: Circle new or unknown

Step 2: In small groups, choose roles:

1. Reader (finds and reads information in the article to group)

2. Writer (writes information on chart paper)

3. Facilitator (make sure group is following assignment steps

– checks off rubric requirements)

4. Supplier (gets and keeps track of needed supplies; returns

supplies when finished)

5. EVERYONE: ideas and suggestions
