Sleep disturbances are frequent in small children from the fear of abandonment.

Schoolwork

Over half of the kids studied had problems with their grades in school.

Economic Loss

Children suffer from economic loss because of the switch to a one income household.

Depression

All of the people studied suffer from moderate to severe depression after their parents divorce.

Stress

Stress is the number one issue of these children.

Many thing stress out the child which causes these other issues.

Trust Issues

Kids feel as though they cannot trust their parents with their feelings.

Relationships

The divorce causes the person to feel their relationship with their significant other will fail as did their parents’.

Drug Usage

They have a higher risk of being involved with drugs and alcohol illegally.

Marriage

Facts show that children with married parents have a lesser risk of all these issues.
