PREGNANCY WITH ILLEOSTOMY:

• Intestinal obstruction due to enlarging uterus. The illeostomy stop flowing into the pouch and the abdomen may come distended and colicky pain is felt.• Fluid diet and resting may solve the problem but in rare occasions hospital admission and an intravenous drip will be needed to rest the intestine• Maintaining an adequet fluid intake is also important especially in morning sickness.

UROSTOMY:

Kidney infection - drinking lots of fluid - not to confused the normal fine of standard of mucus present in your urine with an infection - small amount of bleeding should not be taken as an infection Take part in exercises Change shape of ostoma Ultrasound scan may be complicated absence of bladder witch helps to give a clear view of the baby in early pregnancy.Laters , scan may be complicated by the position of the baby in relation to the ostoma when the babies head is directly beneath the ostoma, which is not uncommon measured of his or her head is not easy

LABOUR AND CHILDBIRTH

• Few problems with urostomies during labour• In illeostomy and colostomy there is only a problem if damaged has been caused to the nerve supply.• Change pouch after delivery because of changing shape.

Breast feed It is helpful to have an empty pouch

Sextual phases are:• Desire•Excitment

Heart rate faster, blood pressure goes up, breathing heavily, more blood into the genital.Vagina becomes moist and wider, the body may sweat and get warmer

• Orgasm sexual climax,nervous system creat intense pleasure,muscles around genital contract .

• Resolution Heart beat and breathing slow . The extra blood drains out of the genital area.

APR

AP resection does not damage the nerves that control the feeling in a women genitals and allow orgasm. Some women may notice vaginal dryness especially if their ovaries were removed,so water based gel can help make intercourse more comfortable.Vaginal dryness

• vaginal moisturizer 2-3 times a week• vitamin E gel• local vaginal hormones• using candom or gel without nonoxynol(N-9)• do not use petroleum jelly (vaselina), skin lotion and

other oil based lubricants.

PELVIC EXENTERATION:

• Skin graft vagina repaired with skin graft using vaginal stent for 3 months

• Muscle flaps and skin graft(VRAM)
