SAFETY NOTES Prima Klima Radial Ventilators are not a finished complete system, but part of a system. The system installer carries the responsibility that all relevant safety regulations regarding electrical connections and contact proteclion are complied to. Special care should be taken regarding contact protection (proteclion guard or sufficient length of ducting). Wiring and service should be carried out only by qualified electricians. Before carrying out any installation or service isolate unit from the mains supply.

Mounting: PK's Fans can be mounted in any position. The tube of fans can be plugged directly in the duct and fastened, make sure the ducting system is not deformed or twisted. For mounting, we recommend lined fast clamps that reduced noise carry-over into the ducting system.

Operating conditions: Do not operate the Fans in potentially explosive atmosphere. Do not operate the Fans with a frequency converter. Pay attention to the maximum ambient temperature in the labels.

Maintenance: PK's Fans, with exception of recommended clearing intervals according to the necessity, are maintenance free. Deposits from dust laden air will in time accumulate an the impeller and housing. This leads to lower performance, unbalance ft the unit, and reduced lifespan. We therefore recommend that an air filter be installed. Under no circumstances should the interior space be cleaned with water or any liquid, or even high pressure cleaner (steam jet cleaner). Through installation of an air filter the cleaning interval can be considerably extended or avoided.

INSTRUCTION GUIDE FOR THE FAN MINIMUM SPEED CONTROLLER

INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the minimum speed controller. The minimum speed controller is a temperature dependent speed controller for one or more exhaust fan. The minimum speed controller keeps the room temperature constant without falling under the set minimum speed to avoid from escaping.

INSTRUCTIONS: Plug the exhaust air fan into the plug. Install the temperature probe which comes an a 4m long cable to a place where you want to measure the temperature. Be careful not to place the probe close to a hot or light source to obtain a precise measure. Should it can be elongated up to 50 metres. Pay attention to first disconnect the power cable. Wrong connections or a short circuit destroys sensitive processor parts.

Now plug the power cable into a common 10A or 13A socket. The fan should now run at minimum 20 to obtain an under-pressure. Adjust the temperature with the upper knob. Should the measured temperature exceed your set temperature by +2° the ventilator runs at its maximum speed adjustment knob you set the lower speed which the controller should never run under.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ■

The fan controller must be inserted into a common household plug which has a 10A or 13A safety breaker. To avoid injury, power should be turned off before the removal of the outer casing. Any guarantee covering the fan controller expires upon the opening of the outer casing!

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE Prima Klima Radial Ventilatoren sind kein fertiges Komplettsystem, sondern einTeil eines Systems. Der Ersteller der Anlage trägt die Verantwortung, dass alle relevanten Sicherheitsvorschriften für die elektrische Anschlüsse und Berührungsschutz eingehalten werden. Besondere Vorsicht ist im Betrieb auf die Berührung der Rotor Blätter geboten (Schutzgitter oder ausreichend lange Rohrleitungen müssen vorgesehen werden. Die Verdrahtung und Wartung dürfen nur durch geschultes Elektrofachpersonal durchgeführt werden. Vor der Durchführung der Installation oder Service am Gerät, ausschalten und vom Stromnetz trennen.

Montage: PK Fans können in jeder beliebigen Position montiert werden. Der Anschluss kann direkt erfüllen, stellen Sie sicher dass Rohrsystem nicht verspannt ist. Für die Montage empfehlen wir Klemm-Manschetten der Firma Systemair.

Betriebsbedingungen: Benutzen Sie niemals die Fans in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen. II-speed Fans dürfen nicht mit einem Phasen Ansschnitt System o.ä. geregelt werden. Achten Sie auch auf die maximale Umgebungstemperatur, von ca. 55 °C.

Wartung: PK Fans sind wartungsfrei. Verschmutzungen aus Staub beladener Luft wird sich mit der Zeit auf dem Laufrad und den Gehäuse ansammeln. Dies führt zu geringerer Leistung, Asymmetrie des Gerätes, und reduziert die Lebensdauer. Aus diesem Grund empfehlen wir ein Luftfilter zu installieren. Unter keinen Umständen sollte der Innenraum mit Wasser oder sonstigen Flüssigkeiten, oder sogar Hochdruckreiniger (Dampfstrahler) gereinigt werden. Durch Einbau eines Luftfilters wird die Lebenszeit verlängert werden.
