While Collin College excels in many indicators, there is yet a measure that is similar to the state average: course completion. Because Academic Excellence is one of our core values, “average” does not meet our standard for a superior college education, so initiatives are now in place to improve these outcomes.

Collin College applauds the Texas Legislature for its new accountability system requiring colleges and universities to post an institutional resume, much like our report card. When this system debuts on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board website, Texans will be able to see a report card for all public institutions.

The Collin College Board of Trustees is dedicated to continuous improvement to ensure the finest education for our students.

ne year ago, Collin College published its first report card to remain transparent and accountable to the community. Accountability gains value with persistence and time, so we now present an updated report card to show progress over the past year.
