I. 作跟隨者的代價 The cost of being a follower 路 (Luke) 9:57-58

撒上 (1 Samuel) 16:7 人是看外貌 , 主是看內心 . Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

約 (John) 2:25他知道人心裡所存的 . He knew what was in a man.

林後 (2 Cor) 8:9他本來富足 , 卻為你們成了貧窮 .That though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor.

馬 (Matt) 26:3333 彼得說 : " 眾人雖然為你的緣故跌倒 , 我卻永不跌倒 .” 33 Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”

來 (Heb) 11:8-10 8 亞伯拉罕因著信 , 蒙召的時候就遵命出去 , 往將來要得為業的地方去 ; 出去的時候 , 還不知往那裡去 . 9 他因著信 , 就在所應許之地作客 .10 因為他等候那座有根基的城 , 就是神所經營所建造的 .

8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations whose architect and builder is God.

II. 立刻的跟隨 Follow immediately 路 (Luke) 9:59-60, 10:1

信耶穌並追隨他做門徒 .Believe in Jesus and follow Him as His disciple.

真正的門徒是相信他是主 , 更是接受他是生命中的主 .A true disciple is not only believing in Him as our Lord but also accepting Him as our Lord of life.

III. 全心全意地跟隨 Follow wholeheartedly 路 (Luke) 9:61-62

王上 (1 Kings) 19:19-21 19 以利亞離開那裡走了 , 遇見沙法的兒子以利沙耕地 ; 在 他前頭有十二對牛 , 自己趕著第十二對 . 以利亞到他那裡去 , 將自己的外衣搭在他身上 . 20 以利沙就離開牛跑到以利亞那裡 , 說 : “ 求你容我先與父母親嘴 , 然後我便跟隨你 .” 以利亞對他說 : “ 你回去罷 ! 我向你做了甚麼呢 ?”

19 So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him. 20 Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. “Let me kiss my father and mother goodbye,” he said, “and then I will come with you.” “Go back,” Elijah replied. “What have I done to you?”

21 以利沙就離開他回去 , 宰了一對牛 , 用套牛的器具煮肉給民吃 , 隨後就起身跟隨以利亞 , 服事他 .

21 So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.

民 (Num) 11:4-64 他們中間的閒雜人大起貪慾的心 ; 以色列人又哭號說 : “ 誰給我們肉吃呢 ? 5 我們記得 , 在埃及的時候不花錢就吃魚 , 也記得有黃瓜 , 西瓜 , 韭菜 , 蔥 , 蒜 . 6 現在我們的心血枯竭了 , 除這嗎哪以外 , 在我們眼前並沒有別的東西 .”

4 The rabble with them began to crave other food, and again the Israelites started wailing and said, “If only we had meat to eat! 5 We remember the fish we ate in Egypt at no cost—also the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic. 6 But now we have lost our appetite; we never see anything but this manna!”

羅 (Romans) 6:20-22 20 因為你們作罪之奴僕的時候 , 就不被義約束了 . 21 你們現今所看為羞恥的事 , 當日有甚麼果子呢 ? 那些事的結 局就是死 . 22 但現今 , 你們既從罪裡得了釋放 , 作了神的奴僕 , 就有成聖的果子 , 那結局就是永生 .

20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

創 (Gen) 19:2626 羅得的妻子在後邊回頭一看 , 就變成了一根鹽柱 ,26 But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

路 (Luke) 14:26-2726 “ 人到我這裡來 , 若不愛我勝過愛自己的父母 , 妻子 , 兒女 , 弟兄 , 姐妹和自己的性命 , 就不能作我的門徒 . 〔愛我勝過愛原文作恨〕 27 凡不背著自己十字架跟從我的 , 也不能 作我的門徒 .26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple. 27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

林前 (1 Cor) 7:25-2625 論到童身的人 , 我沒有主的命令 , 但我既蒙主憐恤 , 能作忠心的人 , 就把自己的意見告訴你們26 因現今的艱難 , 據我看來 , 人不如守素安常纔好 .

25 Now about virgins: I have no command from the Lord, but I give a judgment as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy. 26 Because of the present crisis, I think that it is good for a man to remain as he is.

創 (Gen) 44:29-3029 現在你們又要把這個帶去離開我 , 倘若他遭害 , 那便是你們使我白髮蒼蒼 , 悲悲慘慘地下陰間去了 .30 我父親的命與這童子的命相連 . 如今我回到你僕人─ 我父親那裡 , 若沒有童子與我們同在 .

29 If you take this one from me too and harm comes to him, you will bring my gray head down to the grave in misery.’30 “So now, if the boy is not with us when I go back to your servant my father, and if my father, whose life is closely bound up with the boy’s life.

林前 (1 Cor) 7:29-3129 弟兄們 , 我對你們說 , 時候減少了 . 從此以後 , 那有妻子的 , 要像沒有妻子 ; 30 哀哭的 , 要像不哀哭 ; 快樂的 , 要像不快樂 ; 置買的 , 要像無有所得 ; 31 用世物的 , 要像不用世物 , 因為這世界的樣子將要過去了 .

29 What I mean, brothers and sisters, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they do not; 30 those who mourn, as if they did not; those who are happy, as if they were not; those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep; 31 those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away

林前 (I Cor) 7:32-3532 我願你們無所挂慮 . 沒有娶妻的 , 是為主的事挂慮 , 想怎樣叫主喜悅33 娶了妻的 , 是為世上的事挂慮 , 想怎樣叫妻子喜悅

32 I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord.33 But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife

34 婦人和處女也有分別 . 沒有出嫁的 , 是為主的事挂慮 , 要身體靈魂都聖潔 . 已經出嫁的 , 是為世上的事挂慮 , 想怎樣叫丈夫喜悅 35 我說這話 , 是為你們的益處 . 不是要牢籠你們 , 乃是要叫你們行合宜的事 , 得以殷勤服事主 , 沒有分心的事 .

34 and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world—how she can please her husband. 35 I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict you, but that you may live in a right way in undivided devotion to the Lord.

弗 (Eph) 5:22,24 22 你們作妻子的 , 當順服自己的丈夫 , 如同順服主 .24 教會怎樣順服基督 , 妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫 .22 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands as you do to the Lord. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

林前 (1 Cor ) 11:10 10 因此 , 女人為天使的緣故 , 應當在頭上有服權柄的記號 .10 For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head.

羅 (Rom) 15:7 7 你們要彼此接納 , 如同基督接納你們一樣 , 使榮耀歸與神 . 7 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.

弗 (Eph) 4:2929 污穢的言語一句不可出口 , 只要隨事說造就人的好話 , 叫聽見的人得益處 .29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
