Total Existing Area: Approximately 10,500 s.f. (2 Metro Bus in-use floors)
Facility Observation:
Overall the facility is in very good condition internally, as it was completed in 2014. The building exterior is partially in its original condition, and ongoing maintenance of the brick masonry facades will be required. It has been stated that various City and County Transit Authorities from around the country have visited this facility to see how it has been planned. It has been stated it is thousands of square feet smaller than other comparable facilities, an exercise in space conversation. Some of the spaces within the facility are fairly compact, but all seem to be able to serve the functions required.
Facility Deficiencies:
• Exterior brick masonry walls need mortar repair / replacement in some areas • Adjoining building connection to the Training facility is in need of repair • Stone head at first floor windows may be having water issues, should be monitored • Some of the exterior signage is rusting / corroding in spots • Some minimal interior wall finish damage • Low ceiling heights in some areas • Damaged A.C.T. in a few spaces

Conclusions / Summary:
The Mobility Training Center, having been completed in 2014 is in very good shape overall.
• Most of the finishes still look as if new • The facility is generally well planned, especially on the first floor level • There is abundant daylighting and views on most of the first floor level • The entire facility is fully accessible.
The lower level functions acceptably for the purposes served, but does have a few shortcomings:
• The basement level is fairly compact (low ceiling heights) • Does not have any daylighting or exterior views • Is in mixed condition, depending on the room • A number of the storage spaces are not currently used, or barely used
The exterior of the building is in mixed condition
• Two of the facades were updated in 2014, the other two were not • There are a few maintenance items to address and areas that should be monitored, as noted previously
