Some people might think that blogs are not better than traditional forms of reporting the news. However, blogs are more convenient and more effective than the traditional forms of journalism for two reasons First, on blogs, we can see the news articles whenever we want to see. If we watch the news on television, we have to wait for a long time to see what we want. Or unfortunately, we can’t watch today’s news if we miss the last one. But blogs are always open, so we can read the news on blogs anytime we want to. Also, we can see the news of the past on blogs. Because many documents are saved on blogs, it is easy to search and choose the news that we want to know. If we just type in the key words that represent the news in the search box, we can see many blogs which include those words and we can choose one. We don’t have to wait for the news we want to read about. It is more efficient and less time consuming than the traditional forms of journalism. Second, we can exchange mutual opinions on blogs. The traditional forms of reporting the news, like television or radio, are just a one-way conversation. On television, announcers only report articles, and people cannot express their feelings. However, on a blog, if someone posts the news article which includes his or her own opinions on his or her blog, we can write a comment about that news article or opinion. Then, we can experience good two-way communications with other people.

Blogs Can Surpass Traditional Forms of Journalism

Recently, so many people have their own blogs, and they often write some news

articles and their opinions about the news on their blogs. Some people might think that

blogs are not better than traditional forms of reporting the news. However, blogs are

more convenient and more effective than the traditional forms of journalism for two

reasons

First, on blogs, we can see the news articles whenever we want to see. If we

watch the news on television, we have to wait for a long time to see what we want. Or

unfortunately, we can’t watch today’s news if we miss the last one. But blogs are always

open, so we can read the news on blogs anytime we want to. Also, we can see the news

of the past on blogs. Because many documents are saved on blogs, it is easy to search

and choose the news that we want to know. If we just type in the key words that

represent the news in the search box, we can see many blogs which include those words

and we can choose one. We don’t have to wait for the news we want to read about. It is

more efficient and less time consuming than the traditional forms of journalism.

Second, we can exchange mutual opinions on blogs. The traditional forms of

reporting the news, like television or radio, are just a one-way conversation. On

television, announcers only report articles, and people cannot express their feelings.

However, on a blog, if someone posts the news article which includes his or her own

opinions on his or her blog, we can write a comment about that news article or opinion.

Then, we can experience good two-way communications with other people.

Therefore, blogs have more advantages than traditional forms of reporting the

news: time saving and mutual communications. Obviously, with the progress of the

Internet, the number of people who use blogs to read the news will increase.
