First constatations• Not really solid

• Problem : plates don’t

fit perfectly because of the studs– prefer tiles

– or use an offset of a half stud


P-LESs : space of0.5~1mm

T-LESs : OK

• Problem of curve of the plates– Important curve for P-LESs

– Slight curve for T-LESs

=> Solution : prefer the tiles, or thicken the support

Origin : a footbridge for a train station

• Origin of my work on this building method :– Reconstitution of a traditionnal footbrige of

french train stations– Constraints : resemblance with the original, size

of the construction

• Classic stairs :


•No space betweenthe bars of the fence

•Too big :14 stairs ->28 studs

•Bars too thick

• Solution : use plates for thin bars

– How to fix these plates ?Verticaly between

the studs !– Avantages :

• we can fix the next stair on the bar

• we keep a small size– Drawbacks : fragile !

• How to consolidate ?– We have a vertical plate on the middle of a

plate

=> half-plate offset– Useful bricks : 1x1 with headlight, bracket...
