A general guide to class skill levels:Beginner: Some or all basic skills unknown, may need to learn some or all of the following: to learn what a 1/4” seam is & how to sew it, needs to learn some basic terminology & how to construct a quilt, how to use rotary cutter or accurately cut fabric, how to use cutting mat & rulers/measurements, learn about different sizes of fabrics, how to read patterns, etc.Confident Beginner: Has taken classes at quilt shop previously to learn & is confident with basic skills, knows all or most of the following: How to use rotary cutter/ruler & mat & cut fabric, sew a accurate 1/4” seam, straight lines, basic terminology & quilt construction, learning how to read patterns, etc.Intermediate: Working to or has mastered 1/4” seam, taken classes on multiple different techniques, still learning new skills, accurately cuts fabric measurements, knows how to read most patterns.Advanced: Mastered 1/4” seams, skilled & proficient in a single or many different techniques. Fabrics and supplies are not included unless otherwise noted in the discription. Payment must be made to reserve your spot in any class. Supply lists will be provided. Homework or advance participation should be done before as noted, to ensure a successful class for all participating. You should always plan to arrive 10 min. early to set up your work space. All sales final, refund will not be given, howeve ryou may receive a class store credit (for future classes only) with one weeks advance notice. Each student wil need to have purchased a copy of the pattern or book (legally). We appreciate your consideration when purchasing class supplies.
