    The Private Education Assistance Committee [PEACJ is pleased to announce the conductof the ZALT Regional Orientation on the Guidelines of the JHS Education ServiceContracting [ESC), Teacher Salary Subsidy [TSS), and SHS Voucher Programs in April andMay 2rJ17.

    The PEAC has been contracted by the Department of Education [DepEdJ for themanagement ancl implementation of the IHS ESC, TSS, and SHS Voucher Programs underGASTPE. One of the responsibilities of PEAC is to conduct orientation on these programsfor the various stakeholders, including the participating schools.

    All participating schools are expected to comply with the policies and guidelines of theGASTPE Program; hence, attendance to the regionai orientation is required. Moreover,atiendance in the scheduled orientation is a requisite for the creation of the billingstatements in the ESC Information Management System flMS) andf or SHS VoucherManagement System IVMS),

    Schedule. Participating schoois should attend the schedule assigned to their region asindicated in the attached schedule.

    Program. The one-day orientation wili cover the JHS ESC and TSS Programs in themorning and the SHS Voucher Program in the afternoon. Schools participating in all theseprograms should attend the morning and afternoon sessions; those participating in theESC and TSS programs should attend the morning session; and those participating in theSHS Voucher Program should attend the afternoon session. Attached is the program foryour reference.

    Target Participants. Each participating school is given two slots per session for theschool headlprincipal and the IT point person responsilrle for implementing theprograms and using the systems in their respective schools. The IT point person isadvised to bring his or her own device for the lrralk-through of lhe ESC IMS and/or SHSVMS. Please be advised that each school campus or delivery mode should send theirparticipants to the orientation.

    There is an afternoon breakout session on certification for ESC participating schools duefor recertification in 2OL7-2018. Expected attendees of this session are the point personsfor certification of these concerned schoois. A separate letter will be sent to these schc'ols.

    We are pleased to announce that the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) through itsContinuing Professional Development Council (CPDC) has accredited the Private EducationAssistance Committee (PEACi as a local Continuing Professional Developrnent (CPD) Provider.

    ln this regard, all ln-Service Trainings (INSET) conducted by PEAC shall earn CPD points forprivate school licensed teachers who need to meet the CPD requirements for the renewal oftheir professiona I licenses.

    The PEAC INSET is a capacity building program that addresses the need of private schooladministrators and teachers to strengthen and continuously upgrade the quality of theirschool's instructional programs. We would like to invite yourJunior High School (JHS)teachers

    to the teacher training for private schools in various venues in the country as indicated in theattached schedule. lt is a MUST that they attend the full three-day training to earn CPD unitsas the PRC requires 15 CPD units per year. The schedule is as follows:
