CPRS DISTRICT 12 presents

i choose. . .i choose. . .NOVEMBER 19, 2009NOVEMBER 19, 2009

Coronado Community Center

CHOICE: “Th e determination of the mind… to voluntarily decide to act one way over another;

an alternative”.

We make the choice everyday to lead our life in a certain way.

Dear Workshop Attendees,The power of choice is often overlooked. We get busy in the day-to-day and we tend to think that the environment in which we live, work, and play has already made the decision for us. This could not be a further stretch of the truth. Begin your day with a positive outlook for what can be and let all the wisdom and knowledge provided for you today, at the Annual District 12 November Training, assist you in CHOOSING to make your life, your work, your passion, YOUR CHOICE! It is too easy to resort to the idea that the economy has tanked, your agency is struggling, participation in leisure is low and that what is, is just what is! CHOOSE to take the opportunity presented to you today to make a positive step in the right direction. There is always opportunity; it is a mental, physical and emotional CHOICE to apply it. Even when the chips “appear” down, CHALLENGE, CHOICE and the power to EXCEL – this is what today (and tomorrow) is all about! You will see that with each session topic we have noted who the intended audience would be. We hope this makes your CHIOCE to attend the most benefi cial session an easy one! Look for sessions specifi cally geared for students and young emerging professionals as well, see that we have also found topics for those of you who have joined us from the management and director levels. Please feel free to attend any session you like, but know we have done our best to help you CHOOSE wisely! I sincerely hope that you enjoy today’s program!
