Was originally Bethlehem, IN, but then changed the name to Carmel, IN

Opened for the first year in 1888

First class graduated in 1890 with only 6 students

High School was rebuilt in 1958 with renovations completed in 1969.

+Present Day A four-year comprehensive public high

school with over 4,400 students in grades nine through twelve.

Graduation rate for the 2009-2010 school year was a record high 95.32 percent.

Part of the Carmel Clay Schools district and--along with three middle schools and eleven elementary schools

+ClubsThere are hundreds of clubs, students

can also make a club of their own as long as they find a teacher to sponsor it.
