Request for Proposal Guidelines

Seller is soliciting REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) from potential buyers for the purpose of acquiring THE BAPTIST TEMPLE property, either in existing state or proposed new use.
All RFP’s from potential buyers should include price consideration, identification of buyers, buyers’ representation and other determining factors such as closing period, methods of finance, meeting local code compliance, contingencies etc.
No price will be publicly or privately disclosed to interested parties.
All RFP’s are to be submitted to Broker by NOON Eastern Time, July 11, 2019, and will remain unopened until 7 p.m. that same day for review. Owner/Seller will have 10 days to review/verify and enter into negotiations with the winning RPF. All submitters of RFP’s will be notified either by personal service (phone/email/text) and/or by written method of the status of their proposals. No public notice of the winning RFP will be made until such a time determined by the Owner/Seller & the winning RFP.
The following information must be submitted in order to be considered during the RFP process. Owner/Seller reserves the right to verify or clarify information provided by the Broker submitting RFP. Broker, Buyer or Buyers Representative should be as detailed as possible as to the process the Buyer would utilize to ensure the execution of contingencies, such as zoning or planning acceptance, financing process or sources and due diligence required to complete the process.
Information to be provided in written form; 1. Name of Buyer or organization.2. Proposed use of facility to establish zoning/planning needs.3. Name of Brokerage or Buyer representation with contact information.4. Monetary Consideration (Note; Seller has not established a monetary amount acceptable to the
congregation, Board of Directors or listing Brokerage.) Buyer should make a best offer as Owner/Seller reserves to the right to accept or counter any offer.
5. Financing or Method of Funding including terms and timelines for securing said funds.6. Depository monies and source of funding deposit – all deposits will be held by listing Broker without
exception.7. Desired Due Diligence and timeframe to complete.8. Timeline for deliverables; time to contract, due diligence, financing, zoning/planning & closing
timeframe.
