wide and individual behavior data that cannot be easily analyzed or utilizedResult – We collect referrals and deal with

individual incidences, but can’t get an accurate big picture in order to have a greater impact

Solution – E-Referral system using Google Docs FormAllows for individual incidences to be

A POSITIVE, PROACTIVE APPROACH School-wide:

We can use the data to target problem areas, times of day, and days of week with increased supervision

Incident-type data will help us to develop targeted social skills and behavior instruction

Perceived motivation data will allow us to target interventions for students’ underlying needs

A POSITIVE, PROACTIVE APPROACH Individual:

Notation of positive incidences and commendations helps staff to “catch students being good” and allows administrators opportunities to provide individual reinforcement, both tangible (rewards) and intangible (verbal praise)

To encourage use of E-Referral to record + incidences, each time a teacher enters a commendation, their name will be entered into a monthly raffle to receive rewards and recognition (TBD)
