Easy view of all insertions on a current patient.

Easy to record complications including infections and DVT’s.

·Data can easily be entered by simply using the tab button eliminating the use of a mouse for most controls. ·Little to no Access experience is needed to enter data into database making it user friendly.·For areas where the same selection is likely a dropdown is given. ·All areas highlight as the nurse tabs through so no one gets lost while working.·Each page can be saved and returned to later.

·This means events flow in the database as they do in real life.

·The database can interact with other files to have real time updates such as reports saved from the EMR.·Old records averaging 1000-1300 PICC’s a year are entered by volunteers for comparison.·Data will be used for further studies on upper extremity DVT’s.
