Young Investigator Award (YIA), Application and Presentation

1. Applicants must meet the following criteria

Be the member of "Japanese Tissue Culture Association".

Be equal to or less than 40-year-old on April 1, 2020.

Be the first author of presentation of title applied for young investigator award.

Did not receive "Young Investigator Award of Japanese Tissue Culture Association" previously.

2. Presentation

The style of presentation will be announced in the "The 93rd Annual Meeting Website". For reference,

the style of presentation in 2019 meeting was 7-min oral presentation and discussion on poster display.

3. Awardees are requested;

(1) to submit the comments of impression for getting the Young Investigator Award to News Letter of

Japanese Tissue Culture Association soon after the Annual Meeting,

(2) to submit the paper (regular articles or review articles) to "Tissue Culture Research Communications"

by the consistent title applied to Young Investigator Award after the Annual Meeting.

4. Application

Download the application form from JCTA website. Please fill the form and apply to the below address

by e-mail. Please keep in mind that this form includes the testimonial written by councilor of Japanese

Tissue Culture Association. After the acceptance and approval of application, you will be requested to

submit the abstract through online registration in the Annual Meeting website.

The criterion for English Presentation Award (EPA)

1. Nominal: English Presentation Award abbreviated as EPA of the Japanese Tissue Culture

Association (JTCA).

2. Purpose: To encourage the JTCA members to present research achievement in English with

the aim of transmitting JTCA activities internationally.

3. Candidate: Must be a member of JTCA and a first author of the oral presentation in the annual

meeting of JTCA. Abstract should be written in English and presentation as well. Previous

awardees are precluded.

4. Application: Specify the request of nomination at the time of abstract application. One

application per each author.

5. Discretion: The relevant meeting president is responsible.

6. Commendation: Awardees are announced at the general meeting of the annual meeting and

sent an award certificate and an extra prize.

7. Revision of the criteria: Executive members of JTCA are responsible. Supplement: This criteria

is enforced at January, 2016.
