• Information we need to set up ADSync

LDAP Hostname / IP Address: directory.school.edu LDAP Port: 636 Use SSL? Yes LDAP Base DN: DC="school",DC="edu" LDAP Username Field: userid LDAP Email Field: mail LDAP Query User DN: CN="LDAP Binder",OU="Service Accounts",OU="Users" LDAP Query User Password: P@ssw0rd4u!
Alternatively, you are welcome to provide a fully qualified URL such as:
ldap://ldap.school.edu:636/ou=users,dc=school,dc=edu …but we will still need the Distinguished Name (DN) and password for the designated user that will be bound to the queries. ADSync will be connect to your LDAP server from a public IP address of 69.58.115.114. Once we can connect to their directory manually, we will able to set up field mappings and will then set up ADSync to pull the user information into Remedy on a regular basis.
