By the example of creation myths

The aim of this work is

to prove that mythology is the reflection of the country’s geographical position and deeply influences the national character;

This research is devoted to the theme of different nations’ beliefs, precisely to the theme of creation myths. Because every world, no matter physical or metaphysical has to begin and to end with something.

Creation myth is

a supernatural story or an explanation that describes the beginnings of humanity, earth, life and the universe.

Mayan mythology

Slavic mythology

Egyptian mythology

Japanese mythology

Conclusion

all creation myths have something in common;

however they have many differences that are in fact the “special details” we searched;

they really reflect the geographical position and history of peoples who lived on this territory;

they also were a source for the forming of the national character of the people in the countries that exist nowadays.
