Canada is an English speaking country. It

is picturesque and has a lot of natural

wonders. Some of them are waterfalls. We

want to tell you about the most famous and

popular of them.

Della Falls is a waterfall wich is situated in Strathcona Provincial Park of British Columbia. It is the most beautiful and the highest waterfall of Canada. It is 440 meters high. This waterfall is so picturesque, that people call it "jewel of British Columbia". The waterfall takes melt water from Great Central Lake, and it is more beautiful in late spring and summer, when snow begins to melt.Interesting fact: a goldminer and hunter Joe Della Drinkwater discovered this waterfall in 1899 and called it after of his wife.

This waterfall is situated in Yoho

National Park. The name

"Takakkaw" translated from

Cree, means something like "it is

magnificent!" .

Tourists really feel delight, when they look at the waterfall. Its height is 381 meter and it is very beautiful.

Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States. They form the southern end of Niagara Gorge. From the largest one to the smallest, the three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. Located on the Niagara River, which connects Lake Erie with Lake Ontario, the combined falls form the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world, with avertical drop of more than 50 meters. The Niagara Falls are very wide. Of course, it is very picturesque!

It is a popular waterfall of Canada which is situated not far from the central of Quebec. There are special paths around the waterfall, and with their help you can clime the bridge over the water. Its height is 84 meters. Montmorency

Falls are wonderful at any time of the year and the day.

Rideau Falls are two waterfalls

wich are located in Ottawa, in

the place, where the Rideau

River flows into the Ottawa

River. There is Green Island

between the two waterfalls.

Ottawa is a nice place for

tourism because the Old City

Hall and the Canada and the

World Pavilion are situated near

Rideau Falls.

This wonderful waterfall is situated in the Nahanni National Park on the bank of South

Nahanni River. Its height is 96 meters. There is a high rock in the center of the

waterfall―Mason Rock. Tourist can often see rainbow under the waterfall. It is

picturesque, but not so famous because it is situated far from big cities.
