Pile chambers are used in conjunction with our KD6/8 Trench Sheet to enable service/utility crossings and for pipe jacking applications.

CLEAR OPENING - TIE BACK

SLIDE RAIL SYSTEM

Slide Rail can adopt a unique tie back system which enables a clear open excavation for tank installations as well as other large underground structures.

By using this innovative system, maximum clear spans of up to 24m x 7m can be achieved without the need for any internal frames, enabling a reduced excavation footprint and commercial benefits surrounding backfill material within the support system.

ALUMINIUM WALERS

Our extruded aluminium walers are available in lengths ranging from 2m to 5m and are typically designed for 2-sided trench support applications.

The waler rails are lightweight and ideal for small trenches and in particular utility work where services mean traditional trench boxes are not suitable.

LADDER ACCESS & LADDERS

The NTS Davit Arm safety system provides fall arrest and retrieval capability for open excavations. The system is compact and lightweight and can be quickly assembled by one person and comes with an adjustable clamp which allows for connection to boxes, slide rail and trench sheets/sheet piles. NTS can also provide a number of harness options and other associated safety equipment which can be found in our safety brochure.

Our ladder access platforms provide a safe and robust solution for access & egress within the excavation. Adjustable clamps make the installation quick and easy and the selection of platforms available means all support systems can be accommodated from boxes to trench sheets/sheet piles. We offer a full range of pole/fixed ladders ranging from 3m – 9m (available in timber, steel and aluminium).

NTS offer a range of edge protection systems to suit all your excavation requirements. We provide a 1.8m long mesh panel & post system (for trench sheets & boxes) and also fixed panels ranging from 0.5m – 3.5m (for our full box range and slide rail). All our trench guard systems incorporate kick boards to prevent debris dislodgement and comply with BSEN 13374:2004 Class A.
