Understanding “Youth”:

The terms youth, adolescent, teenager, kid, and young person are often interchanged.

Youth can refer to the entire time of life when one is young, including childhood.

It often refers specifically to the time of life that is neither childhood nor adulthood but somewhere in between.

Youth Culture definitions:

“the sum of the ways of living of adolescents; it refers to the body of norms, values, and practices recognised and shared by members of the adolescent society as appropriate guides to actions”
