1. SHORT SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
Our institution, which has very wide working areas, carriesout many activities / projects / activities in the nationaldimension and wants to be as an oublic body which isfrequently done in international activities, even though it ispartially done. But; European opportunities and foreignlanguage learning are not common enough across thecountry, especially among young people in our province.
Although some institutions and NGOs are workingin this direction from time to time, they are not at thedesired level. That is why we want young people to learnErasmus + and other European Opportunities as well as todevelop foreign language skills.
In this context, it is aimed that both volunteers fromItaly and Germany will be able to do more research onyoung people about EU projects through volunteers (bothby means of non-formal education methods) and by thedevelopment of foreign language skills of young people aswell as volunteers who witness young people practically toa European project experience with volunteers.
1. SHORT SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
Project preparation activities, volunteer selectionand volunteer preparations will be completed in thesummer and volunteers will come to our city with thestart of the schools. (September 15, 2018) Within thescope of the project, which will be a long-termEuropean voluntary service, our volunteers will takepart in our activities for one year
- International experience of volunteers- Increase volunteer skills- Providing support to the young people in our country atthe point of development of language skills- Transmitting EU opportunities to young people in ourprovince with non-formal education methods
And so it is aimed to increase the willingness of volunteersfor the young people in the region, to have enoughknowledge about EU opportunities and to improve theirlanguage skills.
You can use both airport in İstanbul to arrive Bolu.Sabiha Gökçen Airport is easier and closer than Atatürk Airport for transportation Bolu

You should go to Esenler Bus Station by Metro st. Metro is about 800 metersaway by walking . You will go to the from Atatürk Airport Station to Esenler.Esenler is last station. Jeton is 4 Turkish Lira (approximate 1 Euro).You can choose bus company (Metro turizm and Kamil Koç)Bus fees are among 40 and 60 Turkish Lira (approximate 10-15 Euro)

Bolu is located between İstanbul and Ankara (capital city ofTurkey). İstanbul is 280 km to Bolu, Ankara is 200 km to Bolu
Bolu Youth Center (working place) ison showed point 1 and İzzet Baysal CampCenter (accommodation place forvolunteers) is on showed point 2. Also;youth center is 1 km far from city center
The city blessed with natural beautiesBolu, located in the Western Black SeaRegion of Turkey, is one of the mostenchanting tourism centre of Turkeywith its mountains covering. This lovelycity sets amid the two largemetropolises, Ankara and the cityborder, lakes, clean and fresh air andgreen natüre forests, İstanbul, moreover,since the roads connecting thesemetropolises run through the city,reaching to the area is quite easy. Forbeing near by to big cities, more andmore people become more interested inBolu.
Bolu was settled in upper plateuwhich is located among themountains of Bolu and Köroğlu,which plays a vital role to facilitatethe transition to the metropolises.Locating in such an importantgeopolitical area, Bolu keeps itsimportance for outsiders.A moderate and rainy Black Seaclimate is dominant in the districtwhere the forests cover the %55 ofthe land. In Bolu, which is famous forits lakes, the forested countrysidesaround the lakes are excellent fortrekking, mountain climbing, rafting,off-road, paragliding, water andwintersports, camping caravan trips.Bolu always provide a suitableatmosphere for the visitors all yeararound. • Activity dates and hours may be changed by director of youth centeraccording to circumstances
• Each volunteer is expected to participate the whole program. It’sresponsibility of each volunteer to be in time for all activities.
• By the begin as by the end of the project each participant is obligated to put a signature on the participant list. This is necessary to proof yourparticipation in the project.
• Only with permission of the project coordinator/youth center director ormentor you are permitted to leave the youth center.
• During the activities most of people speak Turkish. We expect from volunteers to learn basic turkish words. Generally youth leaders knowEnglish. They will help you for communication. Also you can find basic Turkish words that you will need

10. Foods
The amount of calories the athletes needs isthe sport food according to the menus preparedtogether with dietitians in our Ministry, (three meals,one meal and four meals) are distributed.
