Mission• Youth Ballet Experience

was founded in 2008 by Rachel Deacon.

• The overall purpose of YBE is to give talented and passionate students the opportunity to study classical ballet and other dance forms.

• The organization helps girls and boys ages 7-19 pursue their dreams of becoming a dancer.

Projects

Competitive Edge: Students perform in several competitions including: Youth America Grand Prix, Moscow International Ballet Competition, and Prix de Lausanne.

Class with a Prima: Students experience master classes with principal ballerina Svetlana Zakharova.

Swans Against Autism: Performance of Swan Lake raising money for Autism Awareness.

Children’s Pointe: Dead pointe shoes are being used to build a sculpture that will stand at a local children’s hospital.

Lend a Leo: Leotard donation raising money for a local homeless shelter and soup kitchen.
