Technology Due week ending

Technology

Product Designers create ideas for new products.

For your ILT, you are asked to design a new, unusual chair. You can either create a design sheet, (drawing with labels) or create a model, (3D object) of your idea.

• Your design must be for a new chair,

• You must consider what material the real chair would be made from and why,

• Write a sentence explaining key things you had to consider when designing the chair, for example height, back rest etc,

• Explain who your chair is designed for, could it be used in a classroom? Is it a new cinema seat or children's chair etc.

Be as creative as possible!

You can present this on paper as a drawing with labels, complete using Google slides and share with your teacher, or build a model with an information sheet and hand in to your teacher.
