After the HSC...

It is never to early to start planning to do what you want to do when you finish school.

How is schooling going to get you there? How is this a stepping stone for your

future? Research university and TAFE courses. The HSC is just one small part in the

larger scheme of life.

What am I good at?

What careers are there in that field? Networking Research it Talk to your careers advisor Internships Traineeships Mentor

How do I get from here to there?

your mind when stuff is everywhere. Dump what you don’t need or haven’t used. What you ‘surround yourself’ with says

something about you…

15 min at the end of the day…

Begin with time management 1. Create a term chart, plotting your

assessments

2. Begin backwards mapping short terms goals to assist in your preparation

3. Each week, create a ‘week plan’ with specific due dates

4. Spend 15 min before bed listing your priorities for the following day.

Daily time management Sketch out the day plan (i.e. school hours

and appointments/sport/tuition) Plan ‘down time’ for relaxation Time for friends/family Study time Re-visit how much time
