SHUTTER LOCKING LEVER

f i lm, i t is advisable to take out the empty spool
{rom the lower f i lm chamber and to set i t in the
upper chamber immediately af ter unloading the
exposed f i lm.
The Shutter Locking Lever located on the base of
the Shutter Release Button of fers an ef fect ive
provis ion against accidental t r ipping of the shut ter .
To lock the shut ter , shi f t the Shutter Locking

USE OF FILTER

graphing snow or beach scenes, the use of a f i l ter is
recommended to assure better overall effect.When using f i l ter , make compensat ion for exposure
according to the f i l ter factor . (For instance, double
the exposure when a Y2 f i l ter is mounted over thetak ing lens . )
In case the correct combinat ion of shut ter speed
and aperture is 11250 sec. and FB, turn the
Aperture Control Dia l and set the lens apei ture toF5 .6 when us ing a Y2 f i l t e r .

FLASH EXPOSUR E
When using a convent ional f lash gun or e lectronicf lash, mount i t d i rect ly on the accessory shoe orwi th a bracket at tached to the Tr ipod Socket ofthe camera.
Plug the PC cord of the f lash uni t into the FlashContact of the camera.
Correct exposure in f lash photography is deter-mined by referr ing to the guide number of thef lash bulb or e lectronic f lash in use. The correctaperture is obtained by div id ing the guide numberfor a specif ic ASA f i lm speed rating by thecamera-to-su bject d istance.

before shoot ing the extent over which the objects
w i l l appear sharp and c lea r .
When your camera is focused on a subject at a
distance of 10 feet , and the lens aperture is set at
F16 , the range Ind ica ted by f i gu res "16" on bo th
sides of the distance scale Index is the extent of
the dep th o f f i e ld . I n o the r words , a l l ob jec ts f rom
a distance of about 7 feet to 15 feet wi l l appear
sharo and c lea r on the f i lm .
