Title: 31 MillionReasonsAuthor: NareshVeeran
Inspired by theinfamous SBVrobbery, this is afictionalisedaccount of fivecash-strappedpolice officerswho became
R31-million richer in just 20 minutes. It draws heavily on real life, but namesand characters have been changed. With Durban’s Chatsworth suburb asthe backdrop the tale charts how ahandful of financially depressed peopledevelop an audacious idea, hatchedover a few drinks, into the country’sbiggest ever cash heist.
The robbery went like clockwork, but as is often the case, the plotterswere undone by loose lips and evenlooser wallets. A former Cape Towndetective goes undercover anddiscovers enough evidence to put allinvolved behind bars. Anyone familiarwith Chatsworth and the local accentsand lingo will definitely identify. Highlyrecommended.

Her vibey house jams have takenlocal clubs and radio stations by storm. Her latest album, produced by Durbanbased Loxion records offers tracks likeNgenzenjani na which has proved tobe an unofficial club anthem and otherhot favourites You can stay and So high.
If this young songbird can keep upthe high standard she has set on thisalbum, she is going to be around for along time.
