Our Story So Far…

Earlier in the year, we committed to:• Improving all students’ achievement in reading and math using data.• Using the STAT process for data analysis meetings.• Providing professional development:

• Lexia• Word Study• Guided Reading• Reading block support from Central Office Content Area Specialists and WRES Coaches

• Utilizing the new lesson planning template. • Using the observation tool as an instrument to measure student

engagement:• Professional development during learning community meetings with the engagement tool• Concentration on “Engages in reading” (high-yield practice 3) for reading instruction
