The purpose of going down to Khao Lak near Phuket was to help the students at the R35 school learn English. To help them learn English, we played games,
read books, had interviews in English and with every opportunity we had we spoke
in English with the students.

The total amount of students attending the R35 school is 950
students, 800 of the students are boarding at the school and the other
150 students come from nearby areas. Almost all students at the
school have lost somebody in their lives and some don’t have anyone at
all.

During our visit to the R35 school, not only did we teach English to the students but we also made new friends. The other reason why we went down to the R35 school in Khao
Lak is because, there are millions of people in the world who have no one that loves or cares about them. Many
students at the R35 school is part of the millions of people who are looking for the love they never felt before, and just
hoping for someone to love, care and notice them. We played the role of making them feel special and the love
they never felt before. One soul can make a huge impact on the world making it a better place for those who are less
fortunate than others. The visit to the R35 School gave us an opportunity to make a difference and in return a gift
that nothing will ever be able to replace is incredible experience that we will remember for a lifetime.
