WP4: Main Objectives

To develop and delivery an international CoP for

knowledge sharing and initiation of joint research

projects and grants;

To promote opportunities of international CoP for

collaboration.

WP4: Specific Objectives

To facilitate online discussions among WP2

International teams for the development online

curriculum;

To stimulate sharing of experiences and needs in

internationalization for supporting the creation of

new synergies;

To foster international collaboration among Higher

Education Institutions for developing Joint Research

Project ideas.

IN2IT COP: state of the art

Current state:

COP launched during Tel-Hai meeting (May 2016)

Members already enrolled: 50 (07/04/2016)

14 of them have almost partially filled their profile

Active discussions: 26 (20 in COP section, 6 in International Team Section)

Members: In order to effectively realize the Cop all peoplemust be engaged and participate in the online environment, a good point to start is to log in frequently in order to keep updated on the life of the community

Animators:Her/his main responsabilities is to make possiblejoint research projects by engaging peopleinterested

The animator is the responsible of the accomplishment

of activities in the COP, it is a key role in COP

Community Tellers: how to start

Activities to do:

Community Pathfinders section:

Choose at least 2 areas (i.e. Joint Research Proposals, Joint Courses/curriculum proposal…) and insert 1 idea/need/proposal for each area (due date: 12/31/2016)

Engage at least 5 people of your institution in discussion(due date: 12/31/2016)

Share at least 3 resources (call for proposals, events, articles, websites…) in each area you joined (due date: 12/31/2016)

Suscribe to all the topic relevant to your interests

Each partner must share at least three experiences by

the end of this year (due date: 12/31/2016) i.e.

Polimi will write 3 stories

Each member of the community must write at least a

relevant comment on other partners’ story by the end of

this year (due date: 12/31/2016 Valeria,

Alessandra etc must write a comment based on his/her

experiences

Animators: points of attention

The animator is responsible for the accomplishment of the activities scheduled

You will tell about the experiences thorugh a predefinedform that POLIMi will share in the next weeks

The animator can write directly his/her own experience or can ask to someone else to write the story (i.e. International Office, a project manager involved in an interestingproject…)

The partner can decide to involve a Phd student ascommunity animator to carry on the activities. Politecnico di Milano can provide a «Certificate of community animator of IN2IT community» (no ECTS provided)
