World Fashion

Globe Theater

• Dress up and put on a show for your family

• Dance to music from multiple cultures

• Learn how to box step and salsa

• Take a break from performing in the Globe Theater for bread and cheese in Paris, France

Weaving Loop

• Discover items from Latin American countries including Peru and Mexico

• Learn how to weave with our weaving loom

• Located in the back of the museum to the right

• Near the Latin American display

• There are 2 family bathrooms

Water Fountain

• Thirsty? Cool off with some water from our fountain!

• A step stool is located near by if you need help to reach it

• Across from the Latin American display

Music Room

• Learn how to play string instruments from countries around the world

• Enjoy the quiet atmosphere with our sound absorbing walls

Chinese Dragon Boat

• Celebrate Chinese New Year with a race in our Dragon Boat• Paddle to the beat of the drum• Check out our museum-wide seek-and-find activity located

by the tail of the dragon!

The Japanese Washitsu

• Remember to take your shoes off before entering the Washitsu, its Japanese tradition

• Wear a kimono if you like• Practice using chopsticks • Read Japanese story

books or play with blocks

Art Room

• A spot to embrace your creativity • Enjoy the activities picked out by reception each day• Put together our magnetic puzzles • Take part in our education workshops here as well

Quiet Area

• Feeling overwhelmed with excitement? Take a minute to relax in the quiet area in the chairs or tent

• Read a book or play some quiet games here while you relax from all of the fun you are having in the museum

Gift Shop

Buy a souvenir from the museum gift shop to bring home if your grownup says it’s ok!
