Why eTwinning?

• Teacher´s motivation: prepare students for the real world• Teach less theoretical knowledge, if possible (or try to put it

into practice !)• Find a good project partner (or more): similar working style,

argued goals, daily contact• Student´s motivation: each child has a natural curiosity inside• Increase the right (intrinsic) motivation: interesting topics,

having fun, enjoyable + captivating lessons• Use ICT tools• eTwinning has a completely safe platform

• Project partners: IES de Poio (Spain)- Lycée Thierry Maulnier (France)- Selye János Gimnázium (Slovakia)

• Basic idea: we divided the pupils in groups of 3 (French/ Spanish/ Slovak in each group)

• Each group received a part of the El Camino

Nos encontramos en el Camino(Let´s meet on El Camino)

• The groups had to achive the following targets:- Find traditions, legends, symboles related to the El Camino - Discover vritually their stage: find information about the

region, history, culture, cuisine, monuments, etc. - Discuss how to “do” El Camino (by foot, by bike…), where to

sleep at- Discuss other technical issues: how is the weather, what to

put in the backpack, etc.

Virtual pilgrims

• We created a blog and a wikispace for the pupils• They could upload all the information (videos, Glogsters,

photos, maps, etc.) on the blog• Each group could discuss the activities on the wikispace• The group members had to work in collaboration with the

other members.

Let´s put it into practice!

• Blog• Wikispaces• Photopeach• Slideshare• Glogster

• We watched the movie based on the literary work• We prepared several activities for the pupils: reading in

common, writing poems in common, shooting a few scenes, etc…

• Everything was available on our Twinspace• The students could leave their comments• They could discuss several topics in the Forum

Actors, directors, writers and poets
