Onceyouhaveloggedin,youneedtoselectaclass.Ifyouareateacherlevelaccess,youcanonlyviewtheclassesyouhavebeenallocatedto.

Onceyouhaveselectedyourclass,youwillhavethefollowview.Fromhereyoucanaccessthefollowinginformation;

ClassDetails–youcanadjustthedetailsinthewhiteboxesonly.AllothersneedtobeadjustedviatheWPSPCoordinator

PlacementBlocks–thesearebasedonthe2placementsrequiredtomeetcourserequirements

StudentDetailsandMedicalandAdvice–theseshouldbecrosscheckpriortoallocatingclassestoensureallstudentsareaccountedforANDthatallrelativedisclosuresareincludedthatmayaffecttheneedsofastudentsplacement

Oncetheseareashavebeenchecked,clickontotheplacementblocktoviewavailableopportunities

Onceyouhaveselectedaplacementblock,youwillviewthefollowinglayout.Theprocessisassimpleas“DragandDrop”.

Thereisanautomaticcounterandsuggestedtimeframestoensureplacementsarecompletedefficiently.

Ifyouwantmoreinformationaboutanemployerortheplacement,youcanclickthebluehyperlinkedHostEmployerNameandapopupwillappearwithalldetailsthatareincludedontheStudentPlacementRecord

Onceyouhavecompletedallocatingstudents,youcanaccessvariousreportstosupportthecompletionoftheplacementprocess.Theyareasfollows;

• SignedHostForms–thesearetheHostEmployersignaturepagestocompletetheSPRdocumentation

• StudentPlacementRecords–thesearecompletedStudentPlacementRecordsforallarrangedplacementsbasedonthedetailsinputbythestudentandalldetailsenteredonbehalfoftheHostEmployer

• EmployerSummaries–ASummarylistofavailableplacementsinthesystemforthenotedclass

• ParticipationCertificates–Certificateswhicharemailmergedwithdetailsoftheplacementforeachstudent.Thesecanbeissuedpostplacement

• CommendationCertificates–forstudentswhohaveexcelledinWorkPlacement.

Forallofthesereportsyoucanindividuallychoosewhichplacementthroughselectionviathetickboxesorifleftblank,willdefaulttoprintall

MonitoringThereisaninbuiltsystemtosupportholisticmonitoringofplacements.

Toaccessthis,youcanselecttheMONITORINGTABacrossthetopofthescreenorthehyperlinknexttotheGreenselectionbarwhenyouareintheplacementblock.

Asaguidetheprocessisasfollows;

GREENCOLUMN-theWPSPwillcompletethegreencolumnbasedonthefirstorseconddayofplacement.(pleasenote,ifanythingcriticalarises,acalltotheschoolwillbemadetofollowup)

PINKCOLUMN–Thepinkcolumnisfortheteacherstomakenotesbasedontheirmonitoringoftheplacement

YELLOWCOLUMN–denotesthestudentfeedbackreceived.StudentsarepromptedviaemailortexttocompletethisontheThursdayoftheweekofplacementandifnotcompleted,thefollowingweek.

BLUECOLUMN–iscurrentlyatrialareaandnotyetfunctional.Infuture,thiswillallowEmployerstoalsorankstudentsandprovidefeedback.Thiswillbeoptional.
