1. Wire is metal drawn out into the form of a thin flexible thread or rod.

2. Wire width is measured

by its gauge.

Creating Line ● Line can be ORGANIC or

GEOMETRIC● Straight or Curved● Add strength by twisting

wires together● Make clean lines by

stabilizing your hand that’s holding the wire.

Building Form Form is three-dimensional and encloses volume; includes height, width AND depth (as in a cube, a sphere, a pyramid, or a cylinder). Form may also be free flowing. *Below form is build by wrapping wire around a pencil.
