2 Object Types

Points to Consider

• Exit/Re-entry permitted – but digitize over errors and clean-up later.

• Structure values are POSITIVE

• Exodus Fault line value = -2

• Do Faults to separate file, then merge to others as needed

• Exodus file name interpretation (e.g. xxxTDE01.dig)

• “Culture” can be digitized using special values (-11, -22, -33, -44)

• Save to file frequently

Points to Consider - Wells

• Sequence must be consistent with ‘Well Flow’

• Use HIST to provide .LST file

• Save in a separate file for Exodus

• Can build in text editor to a .dig format or consider “WellPoint” files, or just build .dig inside WinDig – “edit/digits/of annotation” menu

• Coordinate system MUST be consistent with maps.

Importing

• Watch out for reference frame consistency.

• Batch convert Geographix & CPS3 files.

• Note: PCs use <CR><LF>; Unix <LF>.

• Various formats must match examples EXACTLY. Examples on disk.

• Other programs often export ‘non-native’ formats.
