Why you should read

Hello, I’m Rochard Scott, writer and creator of “The Destiny Saga.”

I also perform as “The Boy” and “The Lost Child”, two characters better known as “The Fates of Destiny”. They watch over the events of The Destiny Saga. One is a positive character and the other is negative

character.

I’d like to spend the next few minutes to give you a few

reasons to give my story a try.

Reason Number One:

The Destiny Saga is a spiritual martial arts epic for the fate of

humanity’s sanity.

One of the many stories you will come across in The Destiny Saga is the tale of Linkera vs Chaos.

Linkera Chaos

Linkera was a man created by both angel and demon to combat the madman known as Chaos, a being who wanted

nothing more than to drive all of mankind insane..

Harmene is the Queen of the

Angels.

Melede, Harmene’s daughter is

Queen of the Demons.

The thing that made the angels and demons fear Chaos the most was his ability to corrupt human beings and have them join his army of mad men called Legion.

But Linkera wanted to live his own life, so rather than face Chaos, he ran away from his creators and

escaped to be among other humans.

This tale of warring angels and demons, alongside the personal dramas involving Linkera and Chaos, are all very influential to the Planet Earth. In the beginning of Earth’s time, according to

The Destiny Saga, there was one supercontinent called Pangaea.

It was a place of total peace.

Pangaea was a place where people like Calm and his two children lived without any strife, hate, or war until the conflict between, the angels, demons, Linkera, and Chaos corrupted their Utopia.

Calm: A Panayan father

Carious: son of Calm

Seraph: daughter of Calm

It was the outcome of this tragic war that caused the supercontinent of Pangaea to eventually separate into

the seven continents we have today…

Themes of Community, Spirituality, and Separation

Epic battles between angels and demonsThe martial arts showdowns between

Linkera, Chaos, and Chaos’ followers called Legion

The Family Drama of Linkera meeting Calm’s family.

The relationship between Linkera and Calm’s daughter, Seraph

To reiterate, it’s essentially a spiritual martial arts epic for the fate of humanity’s sanity.

The Linkera/Chaos Era of The Destiny Saga is defined by:

Reason Number Two:

The Destiny Saga is also a superheroish epic of Arthurian flavor on worlds beyond Earth.

After the break up of Pangaea, Linkera, Calm and, Carious begin a search to find the person or persons

who can defeat Chaos once and for all.

They discover a gate called the Portanexus that opens up the way to other realms beyond the Solar System. These other universes are called Secondary Realms.

These Secondary Realms were full of other species who were admirers of humans.

It was through these realms that Linkera and company found a team that could fight off Chaos’ Legion while they continued their search for those who could defeat Chaos…

The Harmens

The Terrans

The Netrel

…This 3 person team was to be known as The Elite. They were blessed with special powers to defend the realms against Legion attacks. The Elite performed their duties with nobility, humor and

goodwill.

“Destiny” “Fate” “Vintage”

But the war against Chaos would continue with the next

generation…

The First Elite Era of The Destiny Saga is defined by:

Themes of loyalty, family, passion, and dutyThe Secondary Realms and Secondary BeingsThe Elite and their super powered adventuresA look at The Elite from various perspectivesThe humorous camaraderie of The Elite’s

friendshipThe continuing relationship of Linkera’s

familyElements of Sci-fi, Fantasy, Horror, and

DramaThis is the superheroish epic of Arthurian

flavor on worlds beyond Earth portion of The Destiny Saga.

Reason Number Three:

The Destiny Saga is also a tale of how the past meets the

future to come together to face Chaos once and for all.

The Elite return back to their respective realms after their tour of duty of facing off against

Legion…

King Shard Destine (aka Destiny of the Elite) of the Earth kingdom of Old France returns home to his

family…

… his wife, Queen Serena Dismara-Destine and his son, Prince Torell Destine.

But his kingdom is attacked by the Secondary Realm of Fegra. Fegra is a realm in which his ex-Elite teammate, Tigra Harlequin (formerly known as Fate), is a part of.

Tigra is a part of The Baron Four, a team that commands The Fegarian Army and they follow the Lord of Fegra…

…a Fegarian named Cat Tiamano who happens to serve Chaos.

Situations develop where Prince Torell Destine is taken by Calm and a woman named Silva Terrana to a Secondary Realm called Giradia…

…which is ruled by the third and final member of the Elite, a Giradian named King Umbrage

(formerly known as Vintage), and…

…his wife, Queen Incense, his youngest son, Successor Contemn…

…and Prince Rampage, his oldest son and heir to the Giradian throne.

Destiny brings together “The Two Princes” and their journey together leads them to Earth in 1995…

Prince Torell Destine Prince Rampage

… and to the town of Piersdale, NJ. They meet Karen Weathers, Lt. Carlos “Rain” Morales, and Rachel Fairs whose destinies lie alongside “The Two Princes.”

Karen Weathers Carlos Morales Rachel Fairs

It is this group that will face Chaos (and themselves) once and for all.

Themes of parents and children, perception and perspective and the journey of life

The past, present, and future come together…but NOT with time travel.

Secret societies, militaries, faiths, nations and the individual are strong focuses of this era.

The nature of love (all aspects)The ultimate fate of the centuries battle

between Linkera and Chaos is resolved in this era.

The Second Elite Era of The Destiny Saga is defined by:

Reason Number Four:

This is The Destiny Saga… at its most ambitious.

The saga of Carmen Morales has to be kept under wraps for now… I have to keep this card close to my chest until The Destiny

Saga is a success… but this picture is a very good clue!

And now… I’ll show you where to go if you are interested in

this “little” tale…

The collected novel, Children of Chaos, will be out in late winter 2012/early 2013.

But, for now, you can pick up the first part of Children of Chaos, The Destiny Saga: The Two

Princes, for the Kindle and Nook today.
