_GfE’s master alloys are used in titanium and super alloys to produce special
corrosion- and heat-resistant parts for aircraft engines, land based turbines, off-
shore applications, car engines or exterior shieldings.
Other applications are found in sports equipment (e.g. golf clubs, cycle frames) as
well as in medical products (implants).
Special products for the steel and aluminum industry and for powder-metallurgical
applications complete our product range.
Through stringent testing (visual, black-light and X-ray inspection), GfE is able to
provide world-class quality products that meet the highest technical requirements.

melting.
The following inspection methods are employed during the manufacturing of cer-
tain products:
Black-light inspection
Magnetic separation
Visual inspection
X-ray inspection
Both raw materials and final products are analyzed by the quality department’s labo-
ratories using the most stringent methods such as:
Atomic absorption spectroscopy
Emission spectroscopy ICP DCP
Gas analysis via carrier gas extraction
Scanning electron microscope with EDX
Wet chemical analysis
X-ray diffraction analysis
X-ray fluorescence analysis
As one of the first manufacturing companies worldwide, GfE has succeeded to have
its high tech production processes to be accredited by DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. Since
