Who We Are The Federal Surplus Property Program

makes surplus property from federal government

agencies available to a variety of eligible

organizations, including cities, counties, state

agencies, schools, museums, SBA 8(a) companies,

fire departments, and some nonprofit organizations.

The Program receives goods from all parts of the

federal government including the military, is funded

entirely by handling fees that are paid by

participating organizations for items they acquire,

and saves Texas organizations and taxpayers

millions of dollars each year. The program also

encourages conservation through the reuse of

valuable items that might otherwise end up in a

landfill.

The Program has a wide variety of property

available including heavy equipment, office supplies,

vehicles, tools, furniture and much more.

We also gladly accept requests, and will do our best

to meet your organization’s needs.
