Commissioner of Police, Delhi
Delhi Police is the largest Metropolitan Police force of
the world. Delhi Police is concerned with particular focus on
welfare of all police personnel & their families. It is the need of the hour to link the performance and well-being of the police force
by inculcating specific steps for greater solidarity.
There is an immense need of collecting and presenting all
welfare measures and relief in one book, so that all concerned may be benefitted by knowing the procedure of applying and the
particular office to contact. The staff has little or no knowledge
about the measures taken for their welfare. In case of need, they do
not know where to approach for the remedy. Due to this very
reason, most of the staff is denied from receiving all benefits,
which are available to them, due to lack of knowledge and
complexity of procedure.

PREFACE
Long hour of duties and paucity of time is a hurdle for
Delhi Police Personnel to acquaint with all updated pecuniary &
other welfare entitlements. Therefore, it is imperative to have latest
updated information in a concise compendium well documented
with all available welfare schemes for the Delhi Police Personnel. This booklet, in a nutshell, contains all financial & other benefits
by Government /Delhi Police Welfare Funds etc.
I am sanguine the booklet amply provides all the requisite
information related to welfare schemes. The benefits of this effort
would be fruitful when the personnel upto the lowest rank are made
aware by giving wide publicity. The benefits mentioned in the
booklet shall also be conveyed to the recruits in Training Centres
and to all Districts and Units for dissemination to the lower ranks.
Thereby, the morale of the force would be high in serving the
citizens with smile and professionalism.
I acknowledge the painstaking research work done by the
team consist of Shri Venu Gopal. H, ACP/Welfare, Inspr.
