Nearby beaches and bays are great for swimmingin the Adriatic Sea.
The river Neretva is perfect for riding in traditionalboats and observing plants and animal species.
The mouth of the river Neretva is excellent for swimming.It is recognizable by its shallow waters. It is perfect forkitesurfing.

They are good for swimming and they are by 3°C warmer than the sea.
They are great for sightseeing by boats.You can see mallards, frogs, egrets, aquatic turtles,coots, copperheads…
Besides swimming, walking, cycling and surfing,there is also “The Festival of 7 lakes”, a music festivalwhich takes place in the summertime.
Ploče has also got some interesting celebrationswhich you must visit (traditional boat marathonand small boat races)

We think that folk dance groups and beautiful hills with characteristic evergreen forests should be used as tourist attractions too. We should start with selling hand-made souvenirs.
We have many natural and social reasons for tourism development and our task is to protect and improve it.
