Welcome to JA Europe Annual Conference
30 Nov– 2 Dec 2015, Luxembourg
Dear Friends,
Welcome to Luxembourg and many thanks to our hosts Jonk Entrepreneuren, to Stéphanie Damgé and her team. Welcome to Asheesh Advani, President and CEO of JA Worldwide. This year has been one of unprecedented annual growth in Europe: 7%! There was an increase of 15% in the Company Programme alone and our network revenues increased by 5%. We are grateful for the leadership of so many JA members around technology initiatives, fundraising opportunities, research efforts, new programmes and better marketing strategies. It’s working! Together we’ve now got the Entrepreneurial Skills Pass up and running in more than 20 countries. We ran Leaders-for-a-Day in 10 cities. We’ve finished the first phase of year 1 impact field trial on the Company Programme. Our network designed and built Europe’s only Virtual Guide to Entrepreneurial Learning and launched The (first ever!) Entrepreneurial School Awards at the European Parliament this October. The EE-HUB, led by JA, with its 45 expert stakeholders and 21 MEP ambassadors, has pulled together more than 50 good
practices. It’s because of our numbers and these initiatives that JA Europe was recently invited to be a founding member of Europe’s new Youth Pact. I hope you will all take advantage of the opportunity to get to know your colleagues from other countries. It’s moments like these when some of the best collaborations are born.
Caroline Jenner, CEO JA Europe
THE CONFERENCE
Every year we invite our members to an internal conference, where they learn essential information about the network, communications, structure and overall organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for them to gain knowledge in important processes and procedures, as well as our growing community. Our Conference is a great networking opportunity, where participants can connect with colleagues from our other member countries. It is definitely an event not to be missed!
We are happy to welcome 112 people from 35 countries this year in Luxembourg!
