Professor Steve Spina,Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies, University of Wisconsin Eau Claire

Dear Sant,

I want to say again how very grateful I was, along with all the other students, for both the quantity and quality of time you spent with us on Sunday October 22, 2006.

It was truly one of the more enlightening experiences we’ve shared in a while on several dimensions.  The book and class discussions at the university on Eastern Spirituality came to life in your presence and in context at the Himalayan Center.

This area of Northwest Wisconsin is blessed to have the witness of your viewpoint and value system added to and refining that of our own culture.

Dear Friends and Well‐Wishers, Greetings.

Words cannot express the immense thanks for your support.

I hope you enjoyed the power point tour and updates of the Himalayan Education Center in Menomonie, Wisconsin, that was made by Didi.

All the merits go to you and your family for helping make this project a success.  We were able to revive an old historic building that sat dormant for over 6 years. Now this historic building is the Himalayan Education Center, a living community center for over 5 years. We thank the Menomonie City Officials for supporting us.

Many international and local students enjoyed living with us while they studied at UW‐Stout for BS and MS degrees.  It is now a dream that has come alive for it brings great multicultural diversity, especially with our Himalayan dinners.

I greatly look forward for your contributions, advice, and best wishes. Our students and I are very thankful for your support.
