Helpful Information

• Class begins at 7:55. It is important to be on time and prepared each day.

• Behavior cards go home each Friday. These must be signed by a parent and returned by Tuesday. Loss of privileges when not returned signed.

each homeroom daily. • Homework packets weekly-Due each

Friday (Bonus grade for completion!)• Breakfast-$ 1.00• Lunch-$1.75 daily• Break-Bring money or snack daily

Early Arrivals

• Students dropped off by 7:40 each morning will be required to go directly to the elementary gym.

• Breakfast begins at 7:30.

Car Riders•Car riders must be picked

up in the pick-up line by Kindergarten. Elementary students will not be allowed to go anywhere else to get in a car in the afternoons.

Tests• Reading tests are usually on Thursday.

Remember to study vocabulary each week.

• Spelling tests are on Friday.• Study the study guides for science and

Alabama History tests.• Math test days will vary.• Language tests are usually on Wednesday.

Elementary Student Council

• Elections held at end of fourth grade.• Candidates must have an “A” average to

run for office. • Attendance and tardies count!

Candidates cannot have more than 5 unexcused absences and 5 tardy/check-outs.

• Candidates must give a short speech.• Candidates cannot have been suspended

or in ISS to qualify.
