Mrs. Hernandez: Mexican Catholic girl, born and raised
in El Paso TX. Attended girls Catholic school from K-
12th grade. UTEP Alumni: both bachelor’s and
master’s degrees. Worked in EPISD for thirteen years. Beginning ninth year at AISD. Worked at TCC for two years: Comp I.
Moved to DFW area in 2004 when I got married.
No biological children; two step-daughters and three step-grandkids.

Mexican parents from small towns in Mexico. Dad came to US as a child and Mom came to US when she got married.
I’m 100% bilingual; Spanish is my first language and I always spoke it at home while growing up.
